Your Role

Your formal role will be PoC (Point of Contact), meaning you will become the section's contact person for the various types of cases that come in. This can involve questions from production or purchasing regarding quality, requirements, materials, fault investigations, etc. These cases are handled, registered, and distributed among the employees in the section, and your task is to allocate and follow up on them. You will work closely with another PoC as well as the section manager.

In addition to the PoC role, you will also handle the same type of cases as the rest of the section, which involves working with the design, development, and maintenance of our 84 mm grenades. You will follow the products through the entire chain, from idea to finished product, where product care becomes part of the job duties. You will, among other things, perform verification and qualification tests in both laboratory and field environments, making your work varied. Documentation, requirement writing, and requirement fulfillment are also important tasks you will work with. The work is characterized by our responsibility for our commitments, which also gives you the freedom to plan your own work. Your own interests can also steer the direction of the role.

We will build your competence regarding fuzes (safety and arming systems) in the long term, as we cannot expect prior knowledge in this area. The fuze is the part of our products that ensures initiation of action if all arming conditions are met. Thus, it is a very important component for the safety and reliability of our products. The work requires precision and responsibility for both safety during work and the delivery of undertaken tasks.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is forward-looking and outgoing and who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate. We believe you are a Master of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, technical physics, or have an education/experience considered relevant. You have experience with design in some 3D tool. Experience in design and/or systems engineering work, as well as work in customer service or sales, is meritorious. You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
